ARTIST STUDIO
First space conception. First confrontation of a real site and obstacles coming from it. How to link an art exhibition to an artist studio in the same building ?
The aim of this project is to create a space organization thanks to the contribution of natural light.Two spaces, two volumes, two uses, two light atmospheres.
On one hand, the light becomes the settings of the exhibition space thanks to the sunshade system.On the other hand, the artist studio's light comes from the roof in an indirect way and more appropriate to work.A flaw between these two spaces enables a continuous visual link. This part also accommodates the Vertical circulation.
We can see on the facade the space organization. The central glass flow shows the connection between these two spaces. The height of the building has been chosen in order to have a better urban integration. The exhibition part is higher than the studio.
